Jenske Dijkhuis (born 1980 in Amsterdam) is Dutch designer, working primarily with spatial concepts, currently living in Amsterdam and working in an old factory building in Zaandam.
== Biography ==
Dijkhuis attended the Gerrit Rietveld Academy〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Rietveld Academie – Nederlands )〕 where she studied under Frank Tjepkema,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Tjep )Peik Suyling, and Thonik. While there, she worked under Marcel Wanders and interned at Droog Design.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Droog Design )〕 Since graduating, DIjkhuis has founded her own studio and won the Wood Challenge 2007.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Woodchallenge )〕 This project has been widely covered and can found in Frame Magazine〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Frame Magazine − The Great Indoors )〕 and a number of books including Spacecraft (LukasFeireiss 2007)〔Spacecraft: Fleeting Architecture and Hideouts, edited by Robert Kanten and Lukas Feireiss http://www.amazon.com/Spacecraft-Fleeting-Architecture-Robert-Klanten/dp/3899551923〕 and Bodyscape (Danoi 2007).〔Bodyscape edited Jong Jin Kim http://www.stoutbooks.com/cgi-bin/stoutbooks.cgi/77191.html〕 Other projects include a design that was included in Robodock,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Robodock.org )〕 a festival of art and theater in Amsterdam.
